National Trust Near Ullswater

Aira Force is a major tourist destination in a sensitive area being a National Park and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so it was essential that the installation was sensitive to the environment. The majority of the building was manufactured in our factory offsite and craned into position minimising site disruption. The final details were finished on site with features such as a sedum roof canopy and the Eco Pod stainless steel roof ties to the interior.

Aira Force Waterfall Walk

The Eco Pod sits at the start of the Aira Force waterfall walk and is the start of beautiful way to spend the day. The Aira Force walk takes around an hour and is a circular loop that is 2.1km long or 1.3 miles if you’re that way inclined.

This particular waterfall walk is hailed as one of the lake districts main tourist attractions two bridges one at the buttom and the other at the top. The waterfall itself stands at 150 meters tall.

Since installing the Eco Pod at Aira Force Ullswater, we’ve also installed Eco Pods at Longshaw and Wentworth Castle Gardens.

We are delighted to be working with the National Trust and we are now on their approved list of suppliers. More photographs of the interior to follow but the building is now open to the public so why not visit for yourself?
