All of our garden buildings are fitted with high-performance insulation materials that do more than just keep you warm in winter — they’re also excellent at keeping the heat out during summer. By acting as a thermal barrier, insulation stops the sun’s heat from turning your pod into a sauna during hot weather, while retaining warmth when temperatures drop.
This type of natural insulation also provides acoustic benefits, creating a peaceful, quiet space that's perfect for concentration or creativity. High performance natural installation is packed into the panels to provide a typical U value of less than 0.18W/m2K. The air permeability is less than 2m3/h m2 at 50Pa.
High levels of insulation, coupled with double glazing results in a typical acoustic rating of Rw 40dB (decibels). This compares favourably with a more 'traditional' masonry building.

Incorporating durable, thermally broken commercial grade aluminium frames to the windows and doors, the slimline profile is colour matched to the building and finished with energy efficient double glazed safety glass. All of our buildings come with underfloor heating as standard — a luxurious yet energy-efficient way to stay warm during colder months. But we also understand the need for cooling solutions during those increasingly warm UK summers. That’s why we offer Air Source Heat Pumps as an optional upgrade. These advanced systems provide both heating and cooling, giving you total climate control at the touch of a button.
